new beginnings
The day light breaks again,
and yet, another day has begun.
But, can we put those times behind us,
and forge new friendships?
Alas, perhaps not.
we mourn.
we lament those times together,
times we did not treasure.
Priceless as they are,
they have passed.
Memories.
a flash in our minds,
a speck of nostalgia,
a wave of warmth.
can you remember our first day at school?
can you recall how we first introduced ourselves?
AND CAN U REMEMBER SOO AH KOW???? jkjk.. too tense...
can you recollect the times we argued?
probably not.
Our mind robs us of these memories.
times we did not cherish.
And perhaps, nostalgia takes away hate, anguish, and those negative thoughts.
leaving with us pleasant memories...
And oh did you notice?
how some of us stepped out
with footsteps so...
so... heavy and firm
with an expressionless face
fists clenched ,
locked arms.
As he walked,
he seemed to disappear almost entirely
as if he hadnt existed at all
i guess they did not feel a sense of belonging.
But for those who still treasure our friendships,
hold on tight.
For there would be a time,
in the near future,
where we exchange gazes on the corridoor,
and just break a smile,
forgetting those times we spent together.
Its sad really,
but departure is inevitable
no regrets guys.
Forever 2-7,
Peter.
